Congratulations to CCF QLD member, Doval Constructions on successfully tendering for the Logan City Council’s Goodna Road Guardrail Project. The infrastructure project will be carried out on Goodna Road, between Ison Road to 2.3km North West toward Springfield Greenbank Arterial, at Greenbank.

The Goodna Road project will aim to improve safety for local road users with the construction and installation of new sections of guardrail along Goodna Road in addition to the installation of three Vehicle Activated Signs in the road reserve on Goodna Road. The Council noted that this infrastructure upgrade will aim to improve safety for local road users. The project cost is estimated at $380,000 and is jointly funded through the Logan City Council’s 2018/19 Capital Roadworks and Drainage program and the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.

The guardrail construction works are scheduled for August 2018 with the installation of the Vehicle Activated Signs scheduled to occur in October 2018, subject to weather and construction conditions. To reduce impacts on motorists, works will be carried out at night between 8.00pm to 5.00am Sunday to Friday.
